Cairo – Mubasher: Most of the projects in the Egyptian oil sector is funded by local banks, Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) Tarek Amer stated on Tuesday.

The Egyptian banking sector is always ready to support and fund the growth of the oil sector, Amer added on the sidelines of the Egypt Petroleum Show (EGYPS 2020).

The CBE’s governor noted that Egypt is keen on continuing the acceleration of economic growth recorded after the floatation of pound in 2016.

Held on 11-13 February at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in New Cairo, the EGYPS 2020 is expected to attract 30,000 attendees and 450 exhibiting companies.
