Kuwaiti indices see mixed performance on Wednesday
Turnover stood at KWD 25.88 million on Wednesday

Mubasher: Boursa Kuwait closed Wednesday’s trading session on a mixed note, as the All-Share and Premier market indices declined by 0.11% and 0.19%, respectively, while the Main and BK Main 50 indices levelled up by 0.11% each.

Turnover went down by 3.3% to KWD 25.88 million today from KWD 26.77 million in the previous session. Trading volume also decreased by 9% to 288.97 million shares from 317.58 million traded shares on Tuesday.

The technology sector led eight declining sector indices and lost 4.31%, whereas the consumer goods sector index added 2.92%.

Al Mal Investment was the session's top losing stock and dropped by 11.35%, while United Projects Company for Aviation Services (UPAC) was the top riser and gained 20.52%.

The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) achieved the highest turnover of KWD 5.95 million, closing down 0.58%, while Investors Holding Group led the trading activity through the exchange of 7.11 million shares, closing up 20%.
