Cairo – Mubasher: Credit Agricole Egypt saw a 7.2% year-on-year (YoY) increase in profits to EGP 2.36 billion in 2019 from EGP 2.2 billion in 2018, according to the bank’s consolidated financials to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Wednesday.
The bank generated EGP 5.96 billion revenues last year, compared to EGP 5.6 billion revenues in 2018.
As for standalone businesses, Credit Agricole Egypt’s profits increased to EGP 2.36 billion in 2019 from EGP 2.19 billion in the prior year.
It is noteworthy to mention that during the January-September period of 2019, the profits reached EGP 1.86 billion from EGP 1.67 billion in the same period of the prior year.
