Mubasher: An Amiri decree was issued on Sunday, 16 February, for a cabinet reshuffle, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) recently reported.

Under the decree, which was effective on Sunday, Barrak Ali Barrak Al Shitan has been appointed as the new finance minister, while Mohammad Hejji Ali Bhushehri became the Minister of Electricity and Water. 

Moreover, Khaled Mohamed Ali Al Fadhel was appointed as the oil minister, while Maryam Aqil Hashem Al Aqil is the new Minister of Social Affairs and Minister of State for Economic Affairs.
