Mubasher: Boursa Kuwait ended Tuesday’s trading session in the red zone, as the All-Share and Premier indices fell by 0.81% and 1.05%, respectively, and the Main and the BK Main 50 markets slipped by 0.12% and 0.69%, in that order.
Turnover expanded by 34.7% on Tuesday to settle at KWD 33.4 million from KWD 24.79 million a day earlier. Trading volume also increased by 12.2% to reach 190.65 million shares from 169.99 million.
The consumer goods segment led eight losers with 3%, whereas the technology sector topped three winners with 5.51%.
Gulf Franchising Holding was the top decliner with 17.76%, whereas Kamco Investment came on top of the gainers with 10.66%.
The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) achieved the largest turnover of KWD 7.45 million, the stock was down 0.98%.
Arzan Financial Group for Financing and Investment led the trading activity through the exchange of 17.63 million shares, the stock levelled up 0.76%.
