Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange’s (EGX) indices rose at the end of Thursday, with market capitalisation gained EGP 1.7 billion.

The benchmark index, EGX30, increased by 0.19% to 13,720 points, while the EGX70 index added 1.21% to reach 1,256 points.

Market capitalisation went up by EGP 695.63 billion on Thursday, compared to EGP 693.85 billion in the previous session.

The EGX100 index rose by 0.44% to stand at 1,364 points, while the equally-weighted index, EGX50, grew by 0.94% to 1,871 points.

The EGX’s trading volume hit 183.84 million shares and the market’s liquidity amounted to EGP 949.94 million.
