Riyadh – Mubasher: National Medical Care Company (NMC) achieved a surge of 28.79% in net profit after Zakat and tax to SAR 80 million during fiscal year 2019 when compared to SAR 62.18 million in the previous year.

NMC’s earnings per share (EPS) stood at SAR 1.79 in 2019, compared to SAR 1.39 a year earlier, according to a bourse disclosure on Sunday.

Furthermore, revenues decreased by 7.25% to SAR 708.39 million in FY19 from SAR 763.80 million in FY18.

The profit achieved in 2019 is attributed to “receivables collections from government sectors and commercial settlements with insurance segment resulting in decreased provision for expected credit losses.”

Late January, NMC’s board has recommended a distribution of SAR 2 per share as a cash dividend for the fiscal year ended 31 December 2019.
