Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended the week’s first session in decline, as the All Share Index (TASI) lost 0.31% and closed Sunday’s trading at 7,982.95 points.
More than 122.262 million shares were traded in exchange for SAR 3 billion, compared with a traded volume of 147.72 million shares on Thursday with a value of SAR 3.825 billion.
The telecom sector index declined by 1.57%, while banks and materials fell by 0.88% and 0.28%, respectively, while energy rose by 0.88%.
As for the stocks’ performance, 84 stocks closed in the red zone, with Baazeem bearing the highest loss of 2.87%.
On the other hand, 103 stocks ended today’s session in green, as Ataa Educational led the gainers and added 6.22%.
Saudi Aramco was the most actively traded stock with 11.36 million shares and a turnover of SAR 384.56 million.
Meanwhile, the Nomu-Parallel Market rose by 1.45% to 7,330.68 points.
