UAE – Mubasher: The UAE Armed Forces has signed five deals at a total value of AED 156 million with local and international companies.

The deals were penned during the first day of the Unmanned Systems Exhibition (UMEX) and the Simulation and Training Exhibition (SimTEX) 2020, being held in Abu Dhabi during 23-25 February, according to a recent press release.

The total value of external deals reached AED 90.57 million, while the local deals amounted to AED 65.51 million, the spokesman for the UMEX and SimTEX 2020 exhibitions, Staff Brigadier Tareq Mohammed Al Bannai, said during a press conference.

Al Bannaib added that some external contracts were signed with the US’ Insitu, the Ukrainian State Foreign Trade Enterprise, and with the UK as well at a value of AED 50.257 million, AED 2.626 million, and AED 37.691 million, respectively.
