ADX up on Tuesday; market cap drops to AED 519bn
A total of 68.16 million shares were exchanged

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed Tuesday’s trading session at 4,936.37 points, up by 0.11% or 5.33 points, unlike its downward performance on Monday, 24 February.

A total of 68.16 million shares were exchanged through 1,772 transactions at a total value of AED 201.33 million.

The market cap decreased by around AED 270 million to AED 519.39 billion from AED 519.66 billion in the previous session.

Meanwhile, the telecom sector headed the decliners with 1.12%.

Al Ain Al Ahlia Insurance came on top of the green zone with 12.12%, while Finance House led the red zone with 9.94%.

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB), up 0.85%, registered the highest turnover of AED 31.13 million, while Aldar Properties was the most active stock with 13.77 million traded shares.

Emirates Telecommunication Group (Etisalat) led the losing blue chips with 1.12%.
