Mubasher: Kuwait Fire Service Directorate has postponed the Kuwait Health, Safety and Environment Forum 2020 until further notice, in response to the outbreak of the coronavirus (COVID-19), Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.

The decision is in line with the Kuwaiti government’s directives to protect the public health against the coronavirus pandemic.

The forum was set to take place during the period from 3 to 5 March in Kuwait.

On Wednesday, Kuwait’s cabinet announced eight new decisions in a bid to combat the spread of the coronavirus epidemic, while the Ministry of Commerce and Industry suspended all temporary trade fairs and shopping festivals until further notice.
