Cairo – Mubasher: The unaudited consolidated financial results of Mohandes Insurance showed a 14.7% year-on-year rise in its net profits during the first half of fiscal year 2019/2020.
The insurer’s net profits amounted to EGP 72.33 million during the six-month period ended 31 December 2019, compared to EGP 63 million in the year-ago period, including minority shareholders’ rights, according to a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Thursday.
The insurance activity surplus totalled EGP 87.57 million in H1 of FY19/20, up from EGP 74.4 million in the corresponding period a year earlier.
It is worth mentioning that the company’s unaudited standalone financials showed net profits of EGP 72 million in the July-December period in FY19/20, compared to EGP 62.04 million in the prior-year period.
