Pfizer mulls to inject $70m new investments in Egypt
The company previously pumped an initial investment of $80 million

Cairo – Mubasher: Pfizer Inc. is currently considering injecting $70 million worth of investments into its newly-established Pfizer Egypt Biopharmaceutical Co., the company’s regional manager in Egypt and Sudan Yousri Nawar said.

The company previously pumped an initial investment of $80 million, Nawar added in a statement released by the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development on Thursday.

For more than 60 years, Pfizer has contributed to developing the pharmaceutical industry in Egypt, which in turn helped in boosting the country’s economic growth, he noted during a meeting with the Egyptian planning minister Hala El-Saeed.
