ADI ended the week at 4,901.42 points

UAE – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) ended the last week of February in decline, as the Abu Dhabi General Index (ADI) lost 2.63% or 132.55 points and closed at 4,901.42 points.

Market capitalization decreased by around AED 13.75 billion to reach AED 514.61 billion by the end of Thursday’s trading session, compared with AED 528.3 billion by the end of the week before.

As for the market sectors, the banks index fell by 3.5%, followed by real estate that went down by 4.45%, while energy and real estate declined by 4% and 2.47%, respectively.

As for the declining stocks, notably TAQA retreated by 6.21%, Aldar lost 4.48%, FAB and ADCB plunged by 4.46% and 4.42%, respectively.

Dana Gas and ADIB slid by 3.85% and 3.66%, respectively, while ADNOC Distribution and Etisalat went down by 1.64% and 2.71%, in that order.
