Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: National Bank of Fujairah (NBF) has partnered with Ripple, a blockchain network solutions company, to offer secure, real-time, and cross-border payments to their customers.

Through the RippleNet platform, NBF will improve the money transfer process and serve the bank’s large Indian customer base by providing faster remittances to India through Indus Ind Bank, according to a recent press release.

Commenting on the partnership, NBF’s CEO, Vince Cook, said: “Digitisation remains a key catalyst for change and as a customer-first bank, we understand the importance of leveraging blockchain technology to deliver seamless and frictionless experiences to our clients.”

“RippleNet will enable us to stimulate an enhanced payment experience that will allow our corporate clients to manage their finances in a more efficient way," Cook added.
