Mubasher: The Kuwaiti stock market has temporarily stopped trading on the Premier Market until the end of Monday’s trading session as its index slipped by more than 10% earlier today, subject to the rulebook of the bourse.
The closing auction has been cancelled, according to a statement on Monday.
The said suspension will not automatically halt trading on the Main Market as long as it did not fall to levels that dictate so.
Earlier this day, the Premier Index plunged by 10.29%, while the Main, BK 50, and the All-Share market indices decreased by 4.8%, 7.23%, and 8.8%, respectively.
