Mubasher: The shareholders of Aqar Real Estate Investments Company approved, during their ordinary general meeting (OGM), the board’s recommendation of paying KWD 1.06 million cash dividends or five fils per share for fiscal year 2019, representing 5% of the share’s nominal value, after deducting treasury shares.  

The distribution shall be due on 19 April to the equityholders registered by the end of 8 April 2020, according to a bourse statement on Tuesday.

The OGM further consented to distribute a remuneration worth KWD 40,000 to the board members for the past fiscal year.

It is worth noting that the profit of the real estate company jumped by 108.8% in 2019 to KWD 2.54 million when compared to KWD 1.21 million in the previous year.
