Mubasher: The price of Kuwait’s crude oil fell by $1.83 to $34.29 per barrel (pb) on Thursday, 12 March, compared to $36.12 pb on Wednesday, the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) said. 

Global oil prices slid by 7% on Thursday after the US President Donald Trump extended restrictions on travel from Europe in a bid to curb the spread of the new coronavirus (COVID-19), according to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).

Brent crude oil dropped by $2.57 or 7.2% to $33.22 pb on Thursday.
