Abu Dhabi closes touristic, cultural sites amid coronavirus fears
Louvre Abu Dhabi is among the cultural sites closing for two weeks

UAE – Mubasher: The Department of Culture and Tourism in Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) has temporarily closed cultural sites from Sunday 15 March until 31 March 2020, Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported.

The move comes in line with precautionary measures to combat the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) and ensure the health and safety of visitors.

Louvre Abu Dhabi, Manarat Al Saadiyat, Qasr Al Hosn, and Al Ain Palace Museum are among the closed sites, while Bait Al Oud, Berklee Abu Dhabi, and Al Qatara Art Center will continue working as usual with more health and safety restrictions.

Similarly, touristic centers such as Warner Bros. World, Yas Waterworld, and Ferrari World Abu Dhabi will be closed
