Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed Wednesday’s trading session in the green territory, reversing its negative performance on Tuesday.

The main index grew by 2.29% or 76.26 points to close at 3,399.61 points.

A total of 88.69 million shares were traded through 3,244 transactions at a total value of AED 272.67 million.

The market cap value climbed by AED 12.33 billion to AED 377.54 billion, compared to AED 365.21 billion during the previous session.

Telecommunications headed the gaining sectors after jumping by 14.86%.

Emirates Telecommunication Group (Etisalat) led the green zone with 14.86%, while Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries Company (Julphar) topped the red zone with 4.99%.

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) registered the highest turnover of AED 115.20 million, while Aldar Properties, up 8.39%, was the most active stock with 23.38 million traded shares.
