Cairo – Mubasher: Telecom Egypt announced extending the January landline bill payment period from 15 March to the next bill payment date.

This move is part of the country’s efforts to halt the spread of the new coronavirus (COVID-19), according to a statement on Wednesday.

On Tuesday, the state-run telecom operator increased internet bundle download quotas by 20% for free for all its customers in line with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology’s directive to support e-learning.
