Tadawul up 0.8% at Wednesday’s close
Benchmark index maintained gains for the second day after four declines

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) ended Wednesday’s trading session on a positive note for the second session in a row.

The all-share index (TASI) gained 0.78% or 47.8 points and closed at 6,154.85 points.

Shaker and Al Baha led the rising stocks, adding 8.74% and 7.34%, respectively.

On the other hand, NCLE dropped 6.36% and topped the losing stocks.

Newly-listed Sulaiman Al Habib registered the highest traded volume for the second consecutive day with SAR 754.1 million, while Alinma was the most actively trades stock with 22.6 million shares.

Traded volumes amounted to a total of 226.118 million shares, over 240,680 transactions with a total value of SAR 5.21 billion.

As for the sector indices, banks and telecom rose by 1.48% and 0.93%, while materials went up by 0.38%, and energy lost 0.16%.

Meanwhile, the Nomu Parallel Market surged by 17.8% to close at 5,705.06 points.
