Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Airlines Catering Company (SACC) will postpone distributing the cash dividends for the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2019 to shareholders until further notice.
The decision is due to the difficulty in determining how long the duration of the precautionary and preventive measures taken by the Saudi government against the coronavirus (COVID-19) will be, according to the company’s statement to the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul).
SACC says it wants to maintain liquidity to be able to face any possible risks associated with the measures.
The COVID-19 outbreak is directly affecting air traffic and consequently related services such as inflight catering, the statement noted.
Last month, the company’s board of directors approved the distribution of 14% dividends for Q4-19.
