Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed Monday's trading session on a negative note, keeping its negative performance for the second session in a row.

The main index dropped by 3.11% to 3,442.09 points.

Turnover amounted to AED 168.37 million after 51.47 million shares were traded through 1,795 transactions.

The market cap value declined by around AED 12.18 billion to AED 377.91 billion from AED 390.09 billion during the previous session.

Sharjah Cement and Industrial Development Company topped the red zone with 5%, while Commercial International Bank (CIB) led the green zone with 12.28%.

Emirates Telecommunication Group (Etisalat) recorded the highest turnover of AED 60.73 million, while Aldar Properties registered the highest trading volume of 12.74 million shares.

Meanwhile, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) headed the losing blue chips with 4.95%.
