DFM closes Tuesday on marginal losses
A total of 142.80 million shares were traded

Dubai – Mubasher: The benchmark index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went down by 0.08% or 1.41 points to close Tuesday's trading session at 1,713.02 points.

A total of 142.8 million shares were traded through 3,410 transactions worth AED 147.31 million.

However, the market cap value increased by AED 90 million to register AED 261.35 billion, compared to AED 261.26 billion during the previous session.

Meanwhile, the banks' sector headed the decliners with 1.7%, followed by the services sector with 0.57%.

Dubai Islamic Insurance and Reinsurance Company (Aman) topped nine losing stocks with 5%, while Ithmaar Holding led 19 rising stocks with 13.68%.

Emaar Properties posted the highest trading volume of 21.73 million shares at a total value of AED 45.98 million.

Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB) came on top of losing blue chips with 4.76%, while Arabtec Holding led the rising blue chips with 6.12%.
