UAE – Mubasher: Network International, a digital payment processing service provider in the Middle East and Africa (MEA), has allocated AED 5 million to support the UAE's economic stimulus package amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

This amount will be provided in cash plus other practical relief measures for the company's merchant partners, according to a press release on Tuesday.

Hence, 1,000 of the company's most severely affected merchants in the small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) sector will benefit from AED 3.7 million in cash provided as part of the support.

At the same time, the company will provide transactions at lower fees for its clients across the UAE for the next three months.

"As more people opt to make purchases online we are helping small businesses transition to online payments by waiving Merchant Service Fees for the next three months for new users of N GeniusTM Online, our market-leading internet payment gateway," managing director for Network International’s Middle East operations, Samer Soliman, remarked.
