Mubasher: The Kuwaiti indices posted a collective rise at Wednesday’s close for the second session in a row.
The All-Share and Premier market indices soared by 2.45% and 2.72%, respectively, while the Main and BK 50 indices increased by 1.76% and 1.93%, respectively.
Meanwhile, the turnover recorded KWD 55.92 million, 12.7% lower than KWD 64.02 million in the previous session. The trading volume went down by 2% to reach 248.51 million shares from 253.54 million shares yesterday.
At the sector level, the basic materials segment topped eight gainers with 6.56%, whereas the oil and gas sector led the decliners with 0.02%.
First Takaful Insurance (FTI) came on top of the rising stocks with 31.2%, whereas the Investors Holding Group led the falling stocks with 9.4%.
Kuwait Finance House (KFH) achieved the largest turnover of KWD 16.23 million, the stock closed up 4.44%.
Investors Holding led the trading activity through the exchange of 46.05 million shares at KWD 420,600.
