Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) increased by 7.39% or 269.99 points to close Wednesday's trading session at 3,921.39 points.

Turnover totalled AED 254.23 million with 100.97 million shares traded through 3,495 transactions.

The market cap value recorded AED 426.41 billion, up by AED 28.39 billion from AED 398.02 billion during the previous session.

Regarding the sectors, telecommunications topped the risers with 9.06%.

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) led the green zone with 14.84%, while RAK Cement headed the red zone with 5%.

Aldar Properties recorded the highest trading volume of 49.35 million shares at a total value of AED 81.31 million.

As for the blue chips, Emirates Telecommunications Group (Etisalat) led the winners with 9.06%.
