ADX loses 3.9% on Thursday

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) closed Thursday's trading session on a red territory, reversing its negative performance on Wednesday, 25 March.

The main index decreased by 3.87% or 150.66 points to 3770.73 points.

The market cap value dropped by around AED 13.35 billion to AED 413.20 billion, compared to AED 426.55 billion during the previous session.

Turnover amounted to AED 97.24 million after 31.99 million shares had been traded through 1,567 transactions.

The telecommunications sector led the losers with 4.85%.

National Bank of Ras Al Khaimah led the red zone with 4.99%, while Ras Al Khaimah Cement topped the green zone with 8.77%.

First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) recorded the highest turnover of AED 25.15 million, while Ras Al Khaimah Properties (RAK Properties) posted the highest trading volume of 5.32 million shares.

Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) came on top of the losing blue chips with 4.96 %, while Abu Dhabi National Oil Company for Distribution (ADNOC Distribution) headed the rising blue chips with 5.47%.
