Mubasher: The Kuwaiti indices closed Monday’s trading session on a mixed note, as the All-Share and Premier markets levelled up by 0.02% and 0.29%, respectively, whereas the Main and BK 50 indices dipped by 0.66% and 1.02%, respectively.
In the meantime, the market’s turnover soared by 14.3% to stand at KWD 28.7 million as compared to KWD 25.11 million a day earlier. The trading volume amounted to 99.6 million shares, down by 6.8% from 106.87 million.
The telecom segment topped three winners with 2.45%, whereas the consumer services instrument led seven losers with 1.56%.
Wethaq Takaful Insurance came on top of rising stock and gained 10%, whereas Al Eid Food headed the falling stocks and shed 9.63%.
Kuwait Finance House (KFH), up 0.32%, posted the largest turnover of KWD 5.84 million. KIB led the trading activity through the exchange of 17.19 million shares, the stock closed down 0.51%.
