Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Ministry of Housing and the New Urban Communities Authority (NUCA) have estimated the cost of developing the New Administrative Capital's R5 residential district at EGP 80 billion.
The R5 residential district named New Garden City spans over an area of 985 feddans, according to an official document reviewed by Mubasher.
The residential district features 295 residential buildings, 105 villas, and 175 townhouses and the mixed-use district includes 11 towers and 96 buildings.
Covering an area of 170,00 feddans, the new capital is planned to accommodate 6.5 million people upon completion and create 2 million jobs.
