ADX gains AED 2.14bn market cap at Wednesday's close
Turnover amounted to AED 152.62 million

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) increased by 0.28% or 10.41 points to close Wednesday's trading session at 3,745.11 points, recovering its losses from Tuesday, 31 March.

Turnover amounted to AED 152.62 million after 54.84 million shares had been traded through 2,014 transactions.

The market cap value rose by AED 2.14 billion to AED 412.88 billion from AED 410.74 billion during the previous session.

Meanwhile, the telecommunications sector topped the gainers with 1.85%, while the real estate segment led the decliners with 3.36%.

Al Qudra Holding led the risers with 14.11%, while Methaq Takaful Insurance headed the fallers with 5%.

Emirates Telecommunications Group (Etisalat) posted the highest turnover of AED 49.63 million, while Aldar Properties recorded the highest trading volume of 10.83 million shares.

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company for Distribution (ADNOC Distribution) advanced by 1.85%, while Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) declined by 4.97%.
