Kuwait's coronavirus case count rises to 743
The total number of coronavirus recoveries in Kuwait reached 105

Mubasher: The number of coronavirus (COVID-19) infections in Kuwait has surged to 743 after 78 new cases tested positive for the new disease during the past 24 hours, according to an official statement by the health ministry on Tuesday.

Earlier today, the minister of health, Basel Al Sabah, reported two new recoveries, taking the total count to 105.

On Monday, Kuwait extended the suspension of work in all ministries and state agencies by two weeks until Thursday, 23 April 2020.

It also extended the partial curfew by two hours to run from 5 p.m. until 6 a.m. effective immediately and imposed a full lockdown on the two cities of Jleeb Al Shuyoukh and Mahboula.
