Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Dana Gas is still carrying out a strategic review on its assets in Egypt for their potential sale, according to the company's disclosure to the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) on Wednesday.

The company referred that the review should have been concluded by the end of March 2020 as announced before, but the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) has an impact on the process.

The company cannot determine the date of review completion due to the rapidly changing circumstances amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

It is noteworthy to mention that at the beginning of April, two sources told Reuters that Dana Gas has delayed its decision regarding the sale of its assets in Egypt due to the market turmoil caused by the COVID-19 outbreak.
