DFM loses 18 pts on Wednesday
The market cap value declined by AED 670 million

Dubai – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) decreased by 1.03% or 18.42 points to register 1,767.03 points by the end of Wednesday's trading session, snapping its two-session gaining streak.

A total of 157.14 million shares were exchanged through 4,322 transactions at a total value of AED 181.22 million.

The market cap value declined by AED 670 million to AED 268.48 billion, compared to AED 269.15 billion during the previous session.

The investment and financial services sector topped the decliners with 2.93%, followed by the real estate segment with 2.73%.

Aan Digital Services Co. came on top of 25 losing stocks with 5%, while Shuaa Capital led six rising stocks with 6.09%.

Union Properties recorded the highest trading volume of 22.97 million shares, while Emaar Properties posted the highest turnover of AED 42.65 million.

Meanwhile, the blue chip DXB Entertainments retreated by 4.72%, while Emirates NBD rose by 3.59%.
