Boursa Kuwait up on Sunday amid thin trade
The market’s liquidity totalled KWD 23.02 million on Sunday

Mubasher: The Kuwaiti indices closed Sunday’s trading session on a collective rise, with the All-Share and Premier markets going up by 1.2% and 1.5%, respectively, and the Main and BK 50 indices growing by 0.47% and 0.54%, respectively.

The market’s liquidity stood at KWD 23.02 million on Sunday, down by 63.4% from KWD 62.8 million in the previous session. The trading volume nearly halved to 89.66 million shares from 187.13 million.

The real estate sector came on top of eight risers with 1.86%, whereas the basic materials and the consumer services instruments inched down by 0.43% and 0.61%, respectively.

Alargan International Real Estate was the top gainer with 14.9%, whereas IFA Hotels and Resorts headed the decliners with 23.2%.

Kuwait Finance House (KFH) posted the highest turnover of KWD 5.33 million, the stock rose 1.32%.

KIB led the trading activity through the exchange of 18.45 million shares, the stock was up 1.61%.
