Cairo – Mubasher: Arab Drug Company reported a 118.37% year-on-year (YoY) surge in its net profits before taxes during the first nine months of fiscal year 2019/2020.

The company’s pretax net profits reached EGP 88.55 million in the nine-month period ended 31 March 2020, compared to EGP 40.55 million in the prior-year period, according to a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Sunday.

Meanwhile, sales increased to EGP 413.72 million from July 2019 to March 2020, compared to EGP 325.26 million in the corresponding period a year earlier.

It is noteworthy to mention that during the first eight months of FY19/20, the company’s net profits before taxes amounted to EGP 80 million, up from EGP 37.65 million in the year-ago period.
