Mubasher: The indices of Boursa Kuwait closed Sunday’s trading session in the green zone amid low trade.

The All-Share and the Premier markets grew by 1.35% and 1.72%, whilst the Main and the BK 50 indices levelled up by 0.4% and 0.97%, respectively.

The market’s liquidity dropped by 31.2% on Sunday to stand at KWD 20.14 million from KWD 29.28 million in the previous session. Similarly, the trading volume was down by 18.7%, reaching 82.72 million shares from 101.74 million.

The basic materials segment headed seven risers with 6.05%, whereas the oil and gas instrument led three fallers with 0.88%.

Gulf Investment House (GIH) came on top of the winners with 12.87%, whereas the Tamdeen Real Estate topped the losers with 9.67%.

Kuwait Finance House (KFH), up 1.73%, achieved the highest liquidity of KWD 4.16 million.

Ahli United Bank – Bahrain (AUB Bahrain), up 1.52%, led the trading activity through the exchange of 15.62 million shares.
