DFM down on Monday; market cap loses AED 3.3bn
The turnover amounted to AED 185.71 million on Monday

Dubai – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) was down by 1.41% or 27.05 points at Monday’s close, settling lower at 1,887.54 points.

The market cap value plunged by AED 3.32 billion on Monday to reach AED 278.03 billion when compared to AED 281.35 billion a day earlier. The turnover amounted to AED 185.71 million after 293.97 million shares were exchanged through 3,794 transactions.

At the sector level, the services and the investment and financial services segments dropped by 2.25% and 1.92%, respectively.

Amanat Holdings led 22 falling stocks with 4.93%, whereas Union Properties headed five rising stocks with 7.66%.  

Union properties led the trading activity on all levels through the exchange of 141.40 million shares at AED 41.64 million.

As for the leading stocks, Arabtec Holding and Damac Properties fell by 2.93% and 2.61%, respectively.
