Riyadh – Mubasher: The net profit of Etihad Etisalat Company (Mobily) increased by 93.16% year-on-year (YoY) during the first quarter (Q1) of 2020.

The net profit after Zakat and tax reached SAR 130 million in Q1-20, compared with SAR 67.3 million for the same period in 2019, the telecom company’s interim financial results showed on Monday.

Revenues increased by about 12.5% to SAR 3.6 billion during the three month period, due to the continued growth of the subscribers base.

In addition, the growth in the business unit and wholesale revenues and the growth of FTTH active base helped increase quarterly profits, according to a statement to the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul).
