The real estate sector led the risers with 5.09%

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) increased by 1.90% or 75.93 points to close Thursday's trading session at 4,062.99 points, maintaining its upward performance on Wednesday, 22 April.

The market cap value reached AED 448.85 billion, up by AED 7.01 billion from AED 441.84 billion during the previous session.

Turnover amounted to AED 234.44 million after around 94.82 million shares had been traded through 2,953 transactions.

The real estate sector led the risers with 5.09%, followed by the energy segment with 3.10%.

Abu Dhabi Ship Building (ADSB) topped the green zone with 13.85%, while Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company (ADNIC) headed the red zone with 4.18%.

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company for Distribution (ADNOC Distribution) registered the highest turnover of AED 58.95 million, while Aldar Properties was the most active stock with 23.48 million shares.

Dana Gas led the rising blue chips with 6.49%, while Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) topped the losing blue chips with 0.60%.
