Cairo – Mubasher: Oil output in Egypt dropped by about 19,500 barrels per day (bpd) or 3% year-on-year (YoY) to around 612,340 bpd in February, hitting its lowest level since October 2019, compared to nearly 631,880 in February 2019, data released by the Joint Organisations Data Initiative (JODI) showed.
During February, the most populous Arab naton’s total oil production stood at 17.75 million barrels.
Month-on-month, oil production edged down from about 612,420 bpd in January.
During the first two months of 2020, Egypt’s oil production reached 36.73 million barrels.
