DFM gains 66 pts on Sunday
The market cap value rose by AED 5.31 billion

Dubai – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) increased by 3.47% or 65.62 points to close Sunday's trading session at 1,956.68 points, maintaining its upward performance on Thursday, 23 April.

The market cap value rose by AED 5.31 billion to AED 283.56 billion from AED 278.25 billion during the previous session.

A total of 428.44 million shares were traded through 6,259 transactions valued at AED 337.32 million.

The real estate sector led the gainers with 5.17%, while the services segment declined by 0.87%.

Islamic Arab Insurance Company (Salama) topped 29 rising stocks with 15%, while National Central Cooling Company (Tabreed) headed two losing stocks with 2.81%.

GFH Financial Group was the most active stock with 68.64 million shares, while Emaar Properties posted the highest turnover of AED 57.26 million.

Regarding the blue chips, Arabtec Holding came on top of the risers with 9.62%.
