Dubai – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) edged up by 0.58% or 11.58 points to end Tuesday's trading session at 1,997.67 points, maintaining its positive performance on Monday, 27 April.

The market cap value rose by AED 800 million to AED 287.69 billion from AED 286.89 billion during the previous session.

Around 458.34 million shares were traded through 7,362 transactions valued at AED 367.51 million.

The real estate sector topped the gainers with 1.92%, while the services segment led the decliners with 0.14%.

Al Salam Group Holding headed 21 risers with 6.71%, while Oman Insurance Company came on top of 10 decliners with 4.76%.

Union Properties recorded the highest trading volume of 95.49 million shares, while Emaar Properties posted the highest turnover of AED 72.83 million.

Arabtec Holding hit the top of the rising blue chips with 3.20%, while Emirates NBD headed the losing blue chips with 0.97%.
