Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Tuesday’s trading session on a positive note.

The benchmark EGX30 index rose by 0.38% to end at 10,415 points.

Meanwhile, the small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI grew by 1.25% to 1,202 points, while the broader EGX100 index went up by 0.59% to 1,124 points.

The EGX50 index advanced by 2% to 1,623 points.

The market cap value gained EGP 4.2 billion to close at EGP 568.723 billion.

Foreign and Arab investors were net sellers with EGP 473.05 million and EGP 184.49 million, respectively, while local investors were net buyers with EGP 657.5 million.

The market’s turnover amounted to EGP 1.16 billion after 374.15 million shares were exchanged through nearly 36,700 transactions.
