Dubai – Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Wednesday's trading session on a positive note after gaining 6.42 points or 0.32% to close at 2,004.09 points, maintaining its positive performance on Tuesday.
The market cap value rose by AED 490 million to AED 288.18 billion, compared to AED 287.69 billion during the previous session.
Around 344.50 million shares were exchanged through 5,929 transactions at a total value of AED 290.57 million.
As for the sectors, the services sector topped the winners with 1.56%, followed by the real estate segment with 1.39%.
Arabtec Holding led 17 rising stocks with 6.97%, while Ekttitab Holding headed 11 declining stocks with 5%.
GFH Financial Group was the most active stock with 51.37 million shares, while Emaar Properties, up 3.37%, recorded the highest turnover of AED 48.20 million.
DXB Entertainments came on top of the losing blue chips with 1.26%.
