Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) inched up by 0.03% or 1.40 points to end Wednesday's trading session at 4,221.98 points, maintaining its upward performance on Tuesday.
Turnover totalled AED 129.43 million after the exchange of 69.45 million shares through 2,107 transactions.
The telecommunications sector led the rising sectors with 0.51%, while the energy segment headed the losing sectors with 0.73%.
Methaq Takaful Insurance Company came on top of the green zone with 11.72%, while Union Insurance Co topped the red zone with 4.9%.
Aldar Properties recorded the highest turnover of AED 27.11 million, while Dana Gas, down 1.40%, posted the highest trading volume of 15.47 million shares.
Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) hit the top of the rising blue chips with 0.57%.
