Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The main index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) gained 8.39 points or 0.20% to stand at 4,230.37 points by the end of Thursday's trading session.

Turnover amounted to AED 158.81 million after the exchange of around 67.11 million shares through 2,309 transactions.

The banks sector led the gainers with 1.25%, while the energy segment headed the losers with 2.78%.

Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries (Julphar) topped the green zone with 14.24%, while Al Ain Al Ahlia Insurance (AAAIC) hit the top of the red zone with 4.97%.

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company for Distribution (ADNOC Distribution) posted the highest turnover of AED 30.59 million, while Aldar Properties was the most active stock with 15.48 traded shares.

Regarding the blue chips, Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) headed the winners with 1.41%, while Dana Gas led the decliners with 4.90%.
