Bank AlJazira Announces the Distribution and Payment of Dividends to Shareholders for the Second Half of the year ended 31 December 2019

Announcement Detail As the Ordinary General Assembly Meeting of Bank AlJazira which was held on 15 April 2020, had approved the payment of the proposed dividend to the shareholders, owning shares on the due date as at the end of the date of the general assembly of the Bank and registered in the bank's records with the Securities Depository Center (SDC) at the end of the second trading day following the date of the assembly.

Bank AlJazira is pleased to announce the distribution of cash dividends to its eligible shareholders for the second half of the fiscal year ending 31 December 2019 amounting of SAR 246 Million at the rate of SAR 0.30 per share, which represents 3% of the nominal value of the share, after Zakat deduction.

Dividends payment will commence from Tuesday 05 May 2020 to shareholders, by crediting such dividends to the accounts linked to their investment portfolios.

As for the shareholders who were unable to receive their dividends for the previous periods and their accounts were not available or in complete, they can approach the nearest branch of Bank Al-Jazira, or contact the Shareholders Affairs Unit of the bank via Phone number 012-6098394 during the official working hours of the bank or by Email: [email protected] to update their data and arrange the process of receiving their dividends. The Bank also would like to draw the attention of Non-Resident Foreign Investors that the cash dividends transferred by the resident financial intermediary are subject to a Withholding Tax at the rate of 5% in accordance with the provisions of Article (68) of the Income Tax Law and Article (63) of its Implementing Regulations.
