Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) maintained its upward trend for the second consecutive session on Wednesday and closed up by 0.55% at 6,721.24 points.

Trading volumes amounted to 191.68 million shares with a turnover of SAR 4 billion and 189,384 transactions.

The telecom and materials sectors rose by 1.95% and 0.57%, while banks and energy added 0.31% and 0.22%, respectively.

MESC led the rising stocks, surging by 10%, while SABB topped the losers and plunged by 6.13%.

Dar Alarkan was the most actively traded stock with 26.61 million shares, while Al Rajhi recorded the highest trading value with SAR 387.81 million.

The Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) declined by 5.22% and closed at 6,454 points.
